What to bring

With these items at hand, the consultation runs most smoothly and Dr. Pinxten can help you straight away.

  • Your electronic identity card (eID)
  • Your current glasses
  • Contact lens wearers: take your lenses out from the evening before. Bring your glasses and the lens packaging.
  • A list of your current medication
  • Diabetic patients: arrange transport. Dilating drops are often used and cause 2 to 3 hours of blurry vision.
  • Payment by Bancontact or cash. Foreign debit cards, credit cards and MAESTRO do not work.

Good to know: during many consultations, pupil-dilating drops are administered. Your vision can stay blurry for 2 to 3 hours afterwards. If possible, don't drive yourself home and bring sunglasses.
